Just wanted to get the word out to anyone who may be interested.  On Saturday, June 21st, Janet Colson of the Louisiana Creole Heritage Center will speak regarding, "Creole Family Histories - Past, Present, and Future", at the EBRP Bluebonnet Library.  She will be the guest speaker at the monthly meeting of the BR Genealogical & Historical Society.  The meeting starts at 1:30 p.m. and is open to everyone. Ms. Colson will also relate the efforts of the NSU Creole Heritage Center to become a national clearinghouse for this information.
