Our August meeting will be 5:00 PM Tuesday night, the 13th, at the Bogalusa branch of the Washington Parish Library. Our speaker will be Dr. Lynn Alexander of Bogalusa. Lynn has been interested in family history most of her life, even more so in the last ten years. She has been in Bogalusa since 1975 after she finished medical school in New Orleans. She is a member of the DAR where she serves as 1st Vice-Regent of the state - and is the National Chairman of Credentials. She was suggested as a speaker for our group based on her enthusiastic presentations and love of family history. If her talk whould have a title, it could be called "Enjoying Genealogy." The public is invited to attend.
