1st Annual Matthew Edward Howes Reunion It is reunion time for descendants of Matthew Edward Howes (1827-1907)and Emma Towndrow(1832-1882). Their ten (10)children were: Robert Edward married Eva Spence; Henry Charles married Felicity Elizabeth Lavigne; Matthew Jeff married Jennie Rutter; George married Alberta Stanton Gookin; Niver Elizabeth; Joseph William married (1st ) Clara Colastie Lavigne, (2nd) Lettie Ensign; Anna Emma; John A.; Edward A. married Edna Fletcher; Louis Raymond married Della Hoover. The 1st Annual Matthew E. Howes Family Reunion will be Held: When: The 2nd Saturday in October; October 11, 2003 Time: Registration will began at 10:00 a.m. Come early and stay as long as you wish. Place: Bedico Community Center We encourage you to bring the children since there is plenty of room for fun and games. Those attending are asked to bring a food dish and drinks of your choice. Plates, forks, ice, etc., will be provided. We are asking each family attending for a small donation to defray the cost of renting the Community Center and other incidentals that may come up in preparations for the reunion. Bring pictures, mementos, artifacts, family records etc. that may be of interest to those attending.
