Time: 6:00 PM Guest Speaker: James "Jim" M. Perrin James M. "Jim" Perrin is a native of Ponchatoula and has lived in that area for more than half a century. He is a retired Ponchatoula school principal with 34 years of service. Jim has had a lifetime love affair with history, and over the past 30 years has specialized in Southern, local, and family history. He has authored and edited several publications on the Ponchatoula area and is continuing to research the records of that community. He is currently president of the Louisiana Genealogical and Historical Society. Jim is married to the former Mary Louise Bruno of New Orleans, father of two daughters, and grandfather of three strapping grandsons.
