    2. The Sunday Advocate -- July 28, 2002 LIPSCOMB, BILLIE A retired school teacher in Rapides Parish with 34 years of service, she died Friday, July 26, 2002, at her residence in Baton Rouge. She was a native of Zachary. Visiting at Jefferson United Methodist Church from 9 a.m. Monday until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Carol Winn. Graveside service in Beulah Plains Cemetery, Zachary, at 1:30 p.m. Monday. Survived by her three sisters, Louise L. Loudon, Julia L. Pinsonat and Eula Lipscomb; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews and a great-great-great-niece. Preceded in death by her parents, William and Virginia Lipscomb; and a brother, Walter Lipscomb. She was a member of Heriome Gaines Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution, Joanna Waddill Chapter of United Daughters of the Confederacy, West Florida Society, Colonial Dames, Pointe Coupee Historical Society, Baton Rouge Genealogical Society, First Families of Mississippi and Daughters of Colonial Wars.
