    3. We are looking for information on Jean Job Tousinau who married Anne Marie Courtain. Church records show 4 children born to this couple. (last name was shown as Jurineau in church records.) They were married 7 Oct 1807, St Joseph Catholic Church in Baton Rouge. She was the daughter of Thomas Courtain and Genevieve Bonvillain. The children found in the Chruch records are Marie Genevieve Tousinau B: 1812 and D:1831 M: Nathaniel Grayless she died about 6 months after her marriage to Nathaniel Jean Francisco Tousinau B: 1815 Augustine Tousinau B: 1817 Marie Louise Tousinau B: 1820 We believe that Daniel Tousinau was also a son of this couple as he is listed in court record as the tutor of the minor children of Jean Job and Anne Marie after their death, and is listed as the brother of the minor children. It is also stated that Jean Job was his father. We have not been abel to find a birth record for him. On the 1810 Census it shows Jean Job Tousinau as having one male under 10. We think he was born in 1810, and the 1850 Wilkinson Co census where he moved shows him as 40 and being born in LA.. We also feel that he married Margaret Fauner of West Feliciana Parish and had a child. On his application for a land grant it states that he was a man with wife and child, at that time he was a resident of Point Coupee Parish. We have not been able to find a record of the birth of the child, or the death of the child or Margaret. We are also trying to find the record of Jean Job Tousinau's partership with Pierre Allain November 4, 1807 where they operated a lodging for travelers, providing pasturage for spent horses as well. We are also trying to find when Thomas Courtain came to LA as well as when Jean Job Tousinau came to LA. Thank You Billy and Delores Tousinau
