    1. Cambre Family
    2. J Perilloux
    3. Prudent B. Cambre, a native of Reserve, LA in St. John Parish, has been researching the Cambre family for many years. Michel Cambre and Mathias Cambre, natives of Germany, settled in St John Parish in the mid-1750s. Cambre family members can be found today in many parishes throughout Louisiana and in several other states. Prudent is planning on publishing a book on the Cambre family early next year and realizes that there is much information he doesn't have because of the fact that the family has spread far and wide. He is inviting anyone who has family information to provide it so that he can include it in the book. If you have information that you would like to submit, you can e-mail it to me at Jperilloux@home.com and I'll forward it to Prudent, or you can snail mail it to: P.B. Cambre 2509 Broadmoor Drive Bryan, TX 77802 Since Prudent is 90 years old and he plans on starting publication early next year, time is of the essence.
