I am a new subscriber to Webster Co List. Am seeking information concerning Margaret Jane COX, b. 1836, MS; married Calvin H. LEWIS 1857, MS. Margaret was relocated to South Arkansas by her husband, who then went off to the Civil War and was killed in the Battle of Franklin, TN., leaving Margaret with four daughters (all the children I know of). After several of the daughters were grown and married, Margaret married John M. PAGAN, a widower then living near Margaret in Bradley Co, AR. Several years later, one of Margaret's daughters (Winifred) married Price Pagan, a son of John M. Pagan. It is believed that Price Pagan and Winifred resided in or near Springhill, Webster Co, LA and that, late in life, Margaret also resided with them, died there, and is buried in Springbranch Cemetery (?). I have no info as to what happened to John M. Pagan. Am seeking descendants of Margaret and her daughters, or anyone who might have information concerning same. Can anyone help? Larry
