You might also consider checking out the genealogy section of the Webster Parish Library. Shouldn't take long to do that. It is new and small. Probably won't find anything, but one never knows until you look. When you enter the library, you go straight past the main desk (to the right side) and the genealogy room is on the right. I find it interesting that there is not yet a genealogy society group in Minden. Good success in your research.
