Highway 8 intersects Hwy 28 just west of Leesville, and from Leesville on west to the border follows what is known as Nolan's Trace. In fact, within the city limits of Leesville, that is the name of that portion of the Highway. I have never heard of the name Nolan's Trace being applied to the section between Leesville and Alexandria however. Morris McRae, Leesville, LA
