I was told that her mother was a Phillips, but no one has connected her to Candis Phillips and Ed Toney. My great-grandparents were probably married in the late 1800's. This is all the information I have, and I would appreciate any connections anyone could make for me. I'm really trying to research the Hexts before they moved to Louisiana.
