Thank you for replying to my request for more information on the O'Banion family in Leesville, LA. Unfortunately, I do not have any information. Helen O'Banion was my maternal grandmother, I got as much information from her regarding her family history as I could before she passed but unfortunately, she did not know a lot about her ancestors or relatives in general. I know that her father was Alfred O'Banion and his parents were Abraham and Susan O'Banion. I know that Alfred was born in 1896; Abraham, 1860, and Susan 1865. That is where I become lost. I haven't been able to go back to the Clayton Library in Houston where I got the information on her grandparents, all I know is that they were in Vernon parrish at the time of the 1900 census and that Alfred was born there. Helen also had two sisters named Sadie and Jenny. Do you have any of these names any where on your family tree? If so, any information that you could forward to me would be greatly apprecia! ted.
