Her husband was Abner/Albert Perkins. They had a daughter Myrtle. Other siblings are Talvin (after her father Montalvin) Virgil, Lloyd & Floyd who were twins. Mealie also had 2 children by a Mr. Singleton, but I don't know his name. The Son was Coneley and the daughter was Catherin but went by Cat. Abner was a good 30 years older than Mealie. She raised her grandchildren, Shelby and Wanda Lou after their mother (Emma Johnson Perkins) was killed by her lover when Shelby was 4 or 6.) Their father was Loyd/Lloyd Perkins. Mealie's family spelled Mancil "MANCEL".
