lemuel watson lived in vernon parish in 1912,1915. parents were george washington watson and gencie stroud. brothers;george franklin watson, john, henry,joe,william,james,sisters mary elizabeth,martha,nancy e,martha,mandie,larenzas,emmer, and two other unknown names of sister.

I am seeking information on the family of James Cames Campbell. James Cames Campbell was born around 1813 in Alabama or Tennessee. His wife's name is Mahala Gibbs, she was born around 1828 in Tennessee or Alabama... James Cames and Mahala were married on January 28, 1842 in Perry County, Alabama. James Cames Campbell and his family were listed as follows in the 1860 census of Sabine Parish: James Cames Campbell 47 M Carpenter TN Mahala 32 F TN Eliza J. 16 F AL Mary 14 F AL John 13 M AL Sarah 11 F AL Henry Sanderson 19 M Farm Laborer This Campbell family later married into the Kirkpatrick family. I am wondering if Martha Thompson who married William West fit in this family. Her son Mayo West was born in Vernon Parish in 1889.
