    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Stephens/Stevens, Bryan, Merriman,Bradshaw Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/kEB.2ACI/4.16.20 Message Board Post: I've been trying to piece together the relationships between the MERRIMAN's BRYANs/OBRYANSs, STEPHENS families. I have a g-g-g-grandfather, Williams STEPHENS, b.abt 1780, who was a witness to the Marriage of Harriett BRYAN, daughter of Anne STEPHENS and William BRYAN. I'm trying to prove a relationship between William STEPHENS and Anne STEPHENS. Some of the men in the following sugar list were witnesses in Harriett Bracin/Bryan's wedding. Ann STEPHENS came to St Martin Parish about 1812 with her 2nd husband, William BRYAN. She was a native of PA, adding another indication to a relationship with Henry STEVENS, who apparently went from MD to PA to WV. Ann and her 1st husband, James McMULLEN Sr, had 2 known children, James Jr (married Elizabeth REID or REED, an orphan) and Pamela (married Mial JOINER). Ann and William had 3 known children, Jane Susan (married John Lee), Henrietta Uracin (married Jacques LeMaire), and Elizabeth Ann (married George Bryan). There may be more to be found on these folks.
