Dear List Members, My name is Kathleen Burnett and I am your new List Mom. I want to take a moment and let you know who I am and a little about myself and how I work as a Mailing List Mom. I am a mother of 4 and grandmother of 10. I work outside of the home during the day and I am a list Mom to several other Mailing Lists. I am also actively involved in the genealogical research of my ancestors. I am a hands on List Mom, meaning I keep track of what is going on with the mailing lists I watch over and if you are ever in need of me during the day, while at work, you can reach me at KathleenBurnett@earthlink.net. Safe meaning a place you are not subject to postings other than postings related to Vermilion Parish. I have very few rules for the lists I watch over, the main being to treat your fellow members as you would like to be treated. The posting of Virus warnings, test messages, chain letters, political announcements, current events, items for sale and Flames, etc (in other words - SPAM) is not allowed and will be grounds for removal. Daddy's great grandmother was E (A) rnestine Baudoin b. abt. 1842 and married Shedrick Porter around 1858-59. One of Aristide and Euseide Lee's daughters was Justilia Lee, who is my great-grandmother on my mother's side.
