Now, I will be cleaning up little bits of stuff here and there, but I must tell you that I am resigning as Archives Coordinator for Union Parish. I have loved every minute of the last four years, and I can't thank each and every one of you enough for your contributions. However, my health has deteriorated, and I have to stop and try to regain my health. I have recently been diagnosed with four problems, two of which cause and make worse the fourth - which is Insulin Resistance, the last step before type 2 diabetes. Right now I am beginning to control it with diet and medication, but it is affecting both how quickly I heal and my vision. In the last year I have gone from "just the beginnings of cataracts" to "needing cataract within the year." My job, I'm a data manager, depends on my eyesight, and I've got to do everything I can to save it. I'll be around - on the list, but I'm giving that up too.
