Hello Karen. I am searching for my great grandfather, Sam (John) Foster, born about 1866 in Alabama. Sam was married to Dicy (Unknown) Foster. Sam and Dicy lived in Walnut Lane, Louisiana. I know that one of their children is buried in Smyrna Cementery. He is John Foster, born about 1892 in Union Parish, LA. I did find Dicy and her 4 children listed on the 1900 Census of Union Parish, LA. According to oral family history, both Sam and Dicy were full blooded American Indians. I am trying to find out who Sam's parents were. Any help is appreciated. Nancy
