Wm. Lorenzo Addison Griffin of Union parish died on Dec. 9, 1862, shortly after joining the Confederate army, in some type accident. He was with his military unit at Vicksburg. I would like to know what happened to his widow, Caroline Cato Davis Griffin. He left a newborn son named John W. W. Griffin who later married Isabelle "Belle" Hite, daughter of Nathan Hite.
