What is the concensus of this group about genealogy programs? We use the PAF (Personal Ancestry File) program put out by the Mormons and are pleased with it, but we use an older version that allows us to keep our data on a floppy disk and just have the program itself on the computer hard drive. I had a friend ask me to recommend a computer program and really didn't know what to tell them, so I thought I'd ask you--the experts. What genealogy program to you use? Thanks, Fred Hamilton

I've used Family Tree Maker for years now. I like it fine, but I've not tried any others to compare it to. I think it's a personal decision as to what to use.
