I'm researching the J. B. Lynch family. Listed in 1880 census living in Union Parish. Family consisted of: J. Barney Lynch Josephine Lynch, wife Henry Lynch, son Allie Lynch, dau R. or K. C. Lynch, son Spencer Allen, step-son B. F. Cats (possibly Katz?), other? J. B. Lynch and wife Josephine are buried in Bernice City Cemetery in Bernice. Their succession was also filed in Union Parish, Book 10, pg 43, 44. Does the courthouse do requests by mail? 'For a fee, of course? Or is there someone local that could possible make copies and mail them to me? Also buried near his father and mother-in-law is Hiram Lafayette Touchstone, husband of Allie Lynch.
