Dear Debi, Do you have a listing in your marriage book for Union Parish for a Henry Lynch? He died there approx 1924. However, his family is there by 1880 when he shows up as a child in the J. Barney Lynch and wife Josephine family. They are all buried near each other in the Bernice City Cemetery. I assume that J. Barney Lynch and wife Josephine were married before they came to Union Parish but you may check the index anyway. I don't have a clue as to where they were married. The last marriage I would greatly appreciate a look-up on is the daughter of J. Barney Lynch and Josephine, Allie Lynch who was married to Hiram Lafayette Touchstone. He died in Union Parish in 1908 and is buried in Bernice City Cemetery near his wife's parents and brother-in-law. Family legend is that H. L. Touchstone and Allie eloped but to where?
