I am new to this list. I realize Smith is a difficult name to research but figured I'd give it a shot. The line I'm working or researching is as follows, though scant: Perry K. Smith, b. 8-21-1843,d. 8-22-1913, probably in Caldwell Parish, m. Therrisann Christine Mercer abt. 1865. Therrisann Christine Mercer was b. 1843, Attala, MS, lived for many years in Winn Parish, LA, and d. 7-12-1904 in Union Parish. Their children were: 1) Garphelia, b. 1868, m. James Elijah Roan 2) Ophelia, b. 1873, m. Wm. Rutledge 3) Lula Kee Smith, b. 1875, m. Dewitt Clinton Sandidge 4) Arthur, no info. 5) Alfred Harbin, b. 1876, m. Minnie Mae Brown 6) Lottie Lee, b. 1883, m. J. C. Hobbs (lived in Winnfield) 7) Perry Kee (f), b. 1885, m. Jesse Barham Harbin (my wife's line) I am interested in any of these lines, folks, etc., but primarily trying to run the Smith line and determine Perry K.
