Dear Greg et al, I'm not sure I have posted my surnsames either. I too have Smith's in Union parish. My Smith's are James AJ and Rosiana Smith nee Cupp. Some other names I am researchign in the area are Easter and I do have a Roan connection but am not sure how it connects. My grandfather's sister (Eunice Easter) listed as her mother on her SS ap card as a Cupp-Roan. As far as I know her mother was Melvina Smith. Daughter of James AJ and Rosiana.
