I would love to hear from any descendants of Alexander Hayes Lovett and Lucy Ann Brady Lovett. They married in Clarke County, Mississippi, in 1875 and moved to the Union/Ouachita Parish area in about 1882(?). They had seven children: George Franklin, James Attoway, Nora Roberta, Sally Camnie, Charlotte Adeline, Joseph Elbert and Minnie Lee. Lucy married Jim Turpin in 1903 in Union Parish. Also, researching the descendants of Simeon Stinson Loviette and Sarah Matilda Brady Loviette. They also married in 1875 in Clark County, Mississippi, and they also had seven children: Carey, Sadie Lou, Minnie, Torrence Sevana, Lorry Lou, Loch Halcrombe and Ida Bell. They arrived in Union Parish in 1890. Sarah Matilda later married C. W. Douglas. I have lots of info, pictures and documents on these two families, who we believe are brothers.
