I'm looking for info on Selester B. PEARCE PATTERSON (born 1878 in Bienville or Red River Parish, LA) who possibly married Unknown HAY in the early 1900s. Selester's family lived in Red River Parish in 1880 and Desoto Parish in 1900. Her first marriage was to Rufus B. PATTERSON in 1901 in Desoto Parish. He died before 1905. I believe Selester married a second time because an S. B. HAY was mentioned in an estate record of a member of her mother's family. I have possibly found the second marriage and family of Selester B. Hay might have married Selester Pearce Patterson and maybe they named the daughter Celester after the mother Selester. Since I'm not 100% sure I'm on the right track, I'd like to find out who the above John E. HAY married, when, and where. It's possible they are not related at all or maybe not my Selester's immediate family. I'm hoping someone can tell me the name of the wife of John E. HAY or anything else to help me confirm or disprove my theories.
