I am searching for the following man - HK/Hezekiah/Hazie Kye Marshall. He was killed in a logging accident in 1886 but I do not have any idea where. I was told that a logging chain broke killing him. I know that in the 1880 census, his wife, Lizzie (Elizabeth) Marshall nee' Amerson/Emerson, was living in Morehouse Parish with her brother, Dan. She is listed as married but her husband was not listed in that household which leads me to believe he was logging somewhere else. By 1882, they were supposedly living in Union Parish because their son was born there. I also know that after HK Marshall died, Lizzie remarried in Union Parish to Richard "Henry" Clay Turnage. What I am trying to find out is how far did loggers go from home for work? Would there be an obituary in the Parish or town newspaper that HK Marshall's wife and/or family lived? I am also looking for the cemetery where Lizzie is buried. She died bewteen 1892-1902. Hope someone can help me :-) Ruth
