I made copies of another divorce suit in Union Parish. William Taylor filed for divorce from his wife Nancy Matthews in January 1857. She was also identified as "formerly the Widow Bird". William stated that she had abandoned him and had been gone for two years more or less. He was granted the divorce in October of 1859. I will send scanned copies to anyone who is interested in this divorce suit. I plan on sending this and the other items I have mentioned in previous e-mails to the Union Parish Archives website.
