Hello Shawn, and all :) James T is not listed in the list of pastors from 1848 to 1985. The minutes are not typed up but copies of the original minutes and has no index. It is in the original handwriting and is 110 pages front and back. The minutes cover 1848-1900, so there is no copyright involved, so it could be copied. I think Office Depot charges .13 a page to make copies for you, so the cost of copying this would be about $14.50 plus my postage costs. For someone who has deep roots in the area, it would be a great service to transcribe and put online in the archives. I have another couple of huge projects already going, so I just don't have the time to do this. If any of you are willing to pay the cost of copying and mailing, I'll have copies made for you. I have the old church records for a very old "Hardshell" Bapt church that was here in Calcasieu parish and another one is online for Amite County Miss that gives sometimes wonderful..sometimes interesting information about my ancestors (one was "churched" for shooting the eyes out of a neighbor's bull). Let me know privately if you want a copy and I'll tell you where to send the money. Keep Searching!
