Hello everyone, While trying to complete a listing of the 1860 Union Parish Mortality Schedule that lists all 1859-1860 deaths recorded by the 1860 census enumerator, I can't resist passing along these deaths from rather unusual causes: Adam Skains, aged 61, born in South Carolina, was murdered in March 1860 These four men all died from "intemperance" (alcoholism): J. A. Davis, died June 1860, aged 35, born Arkansas, farmer J. M. Heard, died Dec 1859, aged 58, born Georgia, farmer William McCullum, died June 1860, aged 42, born Alabama Daniel Pucket, died Aug 1859, aged 44, born South Carolina, carpenter A.
