    1. The Ancestry of Margaret Pear (Pehr) wife of George Feazel of Louisiana
    2. The Feazel-Pear/Pehr Family George Feazel married Margaret Pear the daughter of Phillip Pear or Pehr. Phillip was born about 1735 in New Jersey or New York. Married to Margaret, a dau. of Jurig M. Lohmuller, the emigrant (also found as George Martin Lockmiller.) They probably married about 1759. Phillip died 30 July 1799 in Shenandoah Co. Va. Margaret died about 1816. Their funerals were preached in German. Margaret was the mother of six sick children when Phillip died in 1799. Three died. She was co-adm. of his estate & in the account settlement. her share of the estate was 173 acres. In 1810 Margaret was living in Shenandoah Co. Va. page 211 with two sons between ten and sixteen yrs. of age. Perhaps they were the children who survived the illness. The third may have been old enough to have left home. In 1969, Miss Sada Carey of Downsville, La. thought perhaps Phillips might have first married Miss Hester. I have been unable to prove or disprove this. Children of Phillip Pear 1. John born about 1760 near Trenton NJ 2. Mathias born about 1765 probably in Greenich, NJ 3. Abraham born in NJ died 3 Oct. 1820 in Washington C. Va. 4. Jonathan was born in NJ 5. Margaqret married in Shenandoah Co. Va. on 19 Jan. 1790 to GEORGE FEAZEL. One record incorrectly gave his name as Falkner. Margaret and George were reputed to have been the first white family to settle among the indians in Ward nine of Ouachita Parish, La. now located in Union Parish. 6. Elizabeth was born in Va. and married Thomas Swayne. 7. Rebekah was born in Va. & married John Watson. 8. Regina born in Va. & married David Miller. 9. Mary was born in Va. and md. Mr. Falkner. 10. David born about 1794. 11. Issac was born about 1795. Members of the Pear family were reputed to have traveled to & from Va. to Tenn., etc. with the Feazel family. Many historians believe some may have even moved to Louisiana. The compiler cannot prove or disprove this thought. If anyone has any info. that might connect the Feazel and Pear family after they moved to Northeast La. Sherry Gritzbaugh would like to hear from you. Again, thank you for letting me part of your web site group. Sherry G.
