    1. Margaret Pear and George Feazel
    2. FEAZEL ANYWAY YOU SPELL IT The youngest son of Michael and Elizabeth Feazel of Shenandoah Co. Va. was GEORGE FEAZEL. On 12 Jan. 1790 he married MARGARET PEAR, with the permission of her father, PHILLIP PEAR. When Michael, father of George, died about 1797 George and Margaret were listed as being residents of Hawkins Co. TN. His share was 1/5 of his father's estate, yet six sons were mentioned. Legend has it that the Feazel family floated down the Kentucky River into the Mississippi on a flat bottom boat. After many adventures finding their way into the Ouachita River landing either at Old Trenton or up the D'Arbonne Bayou. All of this transpired about 1811. The eldest daughter, Rachel Feazel, probably came later as she married about 1810 to Alexander Dutton in the state of Alabama. A second daughter, Mary married John (Jean) Honeycutt about 1814. He had acquired land under a Spanish grant before the time of the Louisiana purchase. The youngest daughter was Sarah Elizabeth who was about seven years old when her sister, Mary, married John Honeycutt. Many Union and Lincoln Parish residents have contacted me about the Revo. records. I wish to thank both Union and Lincoln Parish Web sites for letting me put this on their message boards.
