What I'm trying to do is go back a lil further as I stated in the begining of this e-mail my GGGGgrandpa Sandy was from Pike County, Georgia, he moved to Marion with some other Wayne's and I've been advised that they are cousin's to my GGgrandpa they are John Wayne, Moses Wayne, King Wayne, Thomas Wayne I, & Fannie (Wayne) Young. I'm not for sure how these are cousins but I have more detailed info on them as well. I don't know why they moved or what trails that they took on their journey, but in information will be greatly appericated. Also in the back of my book on the Wayne's in Marion, Louisiona. it states: ----The Wayne Family in Greenwood, Louisiana and Shreveport, Louisiana are blood related to the Wayne Family in Marion, Louisiana, Little Rock, Arkansas and Warren, Arkansas. There were two brothers by the name of Tom and Jim Wayne. They left Marion, Louisiana together and moved to Greenwood, Louisiana. Later, Jim left Greenwood, Louisiana and moved to Springridge, Louisiana. Tom was blessed with three son and two daughters. Their names were Sandy Wayne, Will Wayne, Tom Wayne Jr, Bessie (Wayne) McKnight, and Lizzie (Wayne) McKnight. Tim Wayne was blessed with two sons. Their names were unavailable. Wilson Wayne (my ggg grandfather) called Tom and Jim, Hill and Andy. ----- Another thing in the book it mentions Goldsby's, it states: ----- The Goldsby's in Truxno, Louisiana, we were told, are Wayne's. Thir great great great grandfather was named Jim Wayne, he was sold during slavery. When he was sold, his name was changed to Jim Goldsby. We wer told that he was the brother of Sandy Wayne I. Sandy Way, III visited the Goldsby's regularly and told them they were our cousins. ----- The people that put this book togather were Family Members and Friends of the family, some are living but most of them are now deceased. I've been in contact w/ my cousins that helped put this book togather and right now I'm compling a list of questions to ask them. So if you need more info to help me out just let me know and i'll try to get it answered. Thanks for any help you can provide.
