This from the Arkansas Historian Vol. 24 No. 1 march 1986 This is a list of men and women whose death certificates or proofs of death were not matched up with active Arkansas Confederate Pension files where the entire collection was processed. Most of these people got pensions from the state but there is no other record of their getting one. 5943 Gathright, Mrs. K. M. Lincoln County 8248 DeShazo, I. E. Monroe County I will publish the whole list another time. There more names but these two are the ones I am most concerned about.
