I am forwarding a posting that I made in October. Any chance that your Smiths connect. His obituary states that he was born, August 20,1861 in Farmerville, LA. He spent his childhood and early manhood in and around Farmerville, attending public schools there. He moved to Hensley, AR then later married Mary Eugenia Anderson on October 10,1887 in Farmerville. I have found his marriage record in book 7, Union Parish, LA. Mary Eugenia was the oldest daughter of James Matthew Anderson and Sarah "Sallie" Pleasant of Marion, LA. I have quite a bit of information on the Anderson, Pleasant, Moore, and Tubb families which I would be happy to share. The W.R.Smith family moved from Hensley,AR to Rison, AR, to Eagle Mills, AR, and then to Camden, AR. around 1896, where he was in the meat business. He died October 17,1929 and was buried in Camden. Any leads as to W.R.Smith's parents or family would be appreciated. --------------4999C631BA75FAE8F5BFC339--
