It was a small community in central Union Parish on the de Loutre, southeast of Laran and closer to Farmerville, I think. My grandfather knew the location exactly, but unfortunately he is now dead. It had a post office and a few stores, but that was all. It grew up in the 1850s and remained a post office until the 1890s I think. Someone wrote that this was in BAstrop, Morehouse Parish, LA, which is wrong. It has simply disappeared from all 20th century maps of Union parish, but the locals still know the location.
