Hello there, Welcome to the beautiful rolling hills of Union Parish on May 29 for the Union Reunion. I live in Union Parish and I plan to attend the reunion. I am also trying to get some of the old-timers to come. Mrs. Fay Futch, a retired teacher for many years (probably taught your grandmother), told me that Shiloh was the largest town in Union Parish until the railroad came through Bernice and Farmerville. Now there is only Shiloh Church and residences. Can't even tell where the town was. I am researching GREEN DAVIS, ODOM, TUCKER, FUTCH, AGERTON, and MATTHEWS families. I will bring my copy of the John Ramsey book, which has a tremendous amount of information on a lot of families. All decendants of William Taylor and Catherine Gray.
