Good evening everyone: Was looking through my 1950s notes on the GILMORES and seems there was a connection between them and the EVANS. Supposedly, (note from 1950s of mine) there is an EVANS Cemetery with a few graves somewhere around Oakland. It is not in the 4 Volumes of Union Parish Cemetery Records by Mr. Nolan. Does anyone know where it is located? Or is anyone working on the EVANS Family? I appreciate any help. As soon as I clear my desk will post my family from Henry FARRAR, Jr. forward - Was a brother of Robert F. Farrar. Have a copy of the FARRAR Family Bible of the brother of Henry FARRAR, Sr. of Perry County, ALA as his brother's ancestors moved to Kemper (Next to Winston where I live) County, MS. Happened upon them by the grace of God. Also, does any of the Farrar descendants know for sure what happened to Henry Farrar, Jr. I have heard at least a dozen tales - everything from him running off from his family to he went back to Perry County, AL to kill the sheriff who evidently was in with Henry Farrar, Sr's. second wife and cheated the children by the first marriage out of their inheritance.
