My grandmother Retha Mae Wayne-Green was born to Louis Wayne, b 2/14/1905 in Marion, LA Ollie V. Wasson Wayne, b 3/4/1911 in Marion, LA parents are: paternal Wilson Wayne & Sarah Jane ?- Pleasant maternal Guss Wasson & Ada Andrews- Wasson Now this is where I get stuck cause there aren't that many family members left to talk to about this. But I don't have Wilson Wayne parents but Sarah J. Pleasant I believe her father is Thomas Pleasant & mother Matilda ?-Pleasant. Now Guss Wasson I'm for sure about his father was an old slave owner who they called Ol' Man Bill according to my Aunt Wilma which is the sister of Ollie V. Wasson. But we are not for sure if Bill was short for William. but he had one child by a Indian Woman Barbara ? -Wasson. He also had 3 other children that we know about (by 3 different woman) Semp Harper, Lou Will, & Wade Johnson. Wade Johnson stayed in Hetic, AR. Okay my maternal GG Grandmother Ada Andrews Wasson, was born to Squire Andrews & Rachel ?-Andrews. Rachel's mother's name is Pearlee but I don't have her maiden name or the correct spelling.
