    3. Good evening all - This list is the greatest - although I do not always know the folks, it is always interesting reading. The WASSON researcher - Smail Mrs. Mantel Clay, P. O. Box 415, Louisville, MS 39339. She has a WASSON book printed by someone in ARK or TEXAS. There are WASSONS in Attala County, MS. Their reunion is held each year second Sunday in June at Shady Grove Methodist Church. If the Louisiana WASSONS are connected, she will be able to tell you. EVANS - In the 1870 Union Parish Census - 232-232: EVANS, John S or L - 48 - Male - White - Famer - Born in GA; Martha A. EVANS - 51 - Female - White - Born in GA; Benjamin - 12 - Born in AL; George T. - 10 = Born in ALA. Now does anyone know who Martha A. was prior to her marriage to John S. EVANS? They are enumerated next to 233 - GILMORE, Lucinda - age 41 - House keeper - Born in GA and her children. Are the EVANS related to the GILMORES? Does anyone know the connection? In my notes from the 1950s - Evans Cemetery: Martha - wife of G. L. or G. C. EVANS - died Nov 1871 - age 56 years. John L. G. EVANS - died 5 may 187 - age 56 years. Bennie GILMORE - son of C. (?) A. and Carrie GILMORE - died 10 Aug 1876. Carrie - wife of R. A. GILMORE - died July 1872. I have no idea where I got these notes - have not worked on this line since 1950s. Can anyone help on this? GRAY - I have a Frances MILLER, sister to above Lucinda MILLER GILMORE, marrying a GRAY. Does this connect with any of the GRAYS of Union Parish, LA. I think they were married in Early County, GA. Can someone give Candace the email of Tim Hudson, kinsman of the late Mr. Nolan. She mistakenly thought that I was the one who had it. Appreciate it. Again, thank everyone for being such great people. I always look forward to reading this list every night. Louis
