Sue Linder-Lindsay has a web site with valuable family information on John William Nolan "Big John" and Elizabeth Adams. These are the parents of HARRIET LENORA NOLAN, wife of JOHN ANDREW AUGER. Their children were 1) Freddie E. Auger 1878-1902 2) Martha Grace Auger 1882-1962 wife of Murry Hamilton Green 3) Thomas A. "Bud" Auger 1885-1971 4) Arthur Samuel "Sugh" Auger 1887-? 5) Sallie Emma Auger 1890-? , wife of James "Gussie" A. Manning 6) Robert "Bob" Auger There is also much information on the Holloway family from around Laran. Check this out and let me know what you think. <http://smu.edu/~slinder/WC TOC.HTM> Diane Green Smith --------------FD4B04CC439138002E9E8D64 Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline Return-Path: azminx@home.com Received: from mail.rdc1.az.home.com (imail@ha1.rdc1.az.home.com [24.1.240.66]) by mail.bayou.com (8.9.3/8.9.3) with ESMTP id TAA89645 for <dgsmith@bayou.com>; Tue, 22 Aug 2000 19:30:33 -0500 (CDT) (envelope-from azminx@home.com) Received: from home.com ([24.14.247.77]) by mail.rdc1.az.home.com (InterMail vM.4.01.02.00 201-229-116) with ESMTP id <20000822223320.HEGI12685.mail.rdc1.az.home.com@home.com>; Tue, 22 Aug 2000 15:33:20 -0700 Message-ID: <39A3000B.D2DDF603@home.com> Date: Tue, 22 Aug 2000 15:34:52 -0700 From: Lori Stevens <azminx@home.com> X-Mailer: Mozilla 4.5 [en] (WinNT; U) X-Accept-Language: en MIME-Version: 1.0 To: dgsmith@bayou.com, slinder@post.cis.smu.edu Subject: Your Visit to OurMixedRoots Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="------------D685F160E86C70B9CBAD8B4A" X-Mozilla-Status2: 00000000 --------------D685F160E86C70B9CBAD8B4A Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi Diane :) You asked the following question in my guestbook: Any connection between your JOHN NOLAN & ELIZABETH ADAMS NOLAN to mine? John William Nolan b 1820 in GA. (son of THOMAS F. NOLAN & HANNAH GREER) m Chambers Co., AL to ELIZABETH ADAMS b 1830 GA? At first glance, I want to holler Yes! But I'm not the Nolan expert and from my own notes, I'm not absolutely sure that my Martha Jane Nolan is indeed the child of the John William Nolan in my database. The note I have for their son, John T. Nolan is as follows: This John T. is found next door to John Nolan who is 2 doors down from John Jones and Martha Jane Nolan. At this time (8/1999) there is insufficient proof that John Nolan is Martha's father, or that this John T. is the son of John Nolan. I've copied this email to Sue Linder-Lindsay who gave me alot of Holloway and Nolan information (Hi Sue!) and I hope this is still her correct email addy
