Karen---I am with you on this matter, but I just wanted to let you know that Heritage Quest is working real hard on Indexes for the various census years. So far they are 29.95 and 39.95 depending on the State. If we are able to get the census on line without too much cost, then I will donate money to the index fund...If I understood them correctly the index was for the state not just the county/parish. mary margaret ----- Original Message ----- From: Karen Rice <aberizn1@gte.net> To: <LAUNION-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, August 10, 2000 5:04 PM Subject: Fw: Union Parish LA Censuses > This is what I received from Heritage Quest. Is Heritage Quest viewed by paid members only or is it free to all of us. I know that some of those run "free access for a month" specials. I can't keep up with who is what and how they operate any more! Ain't it grand??? So much genealogy....so little time...
