Hi all, We got a new contribution to the archives. Harold & Lynda Phillips surveyed the white half of Springhill Cemetery. In a couple of weeks or so they are going to do the African American half, and we'll get that up there too. I see lots of names that crop up on roll calls in this cemetery - Wood, Odom, Brashier, Brazell, Moore, and many others. Everyone go take a look. There is an interesting little history at the beginning of the survey, and a monument to those who were buried there without markers.
