Kelby - Until your posting, I didn't realize there was a publication listing Slaveholders and Slaves in Union Parish..... Would it be possible for you to do a look up for me for the COLE family? There were several related COLEs in Union Parish pre-Civil War. Most are lateral lines - Isaac COLE and his wife Sarah HORTON are my direct line - in that area at that time.
