On 09 Jan. 1859, William M. GOULDSBY and Susanna FARRAR were married in Union County, Arkansas. They are listed on the Union Parish, LA 1860 as 911 911 Benjamin GOULDSBY 24 m Tn Susan 18 f AL John H. 8 mos. f LA Yes, the transcript on the Union Parish page lists John as a female. I have not looked at the original to see what it says. The index also lists the husband as Benjamin instead of William. This couple also in approx. 1863 has a daughter named Mary A. GOULDSBY. The name is also seen as GOOLSBY and several other variations in spelling. In 1868, Susanna FARRAR marries William David HENDERSON in Union Parish. I do not know if she and Wm. M. GOULDSBY were divorced or he died. I can find no cemetery records on him in Union Parish. On 17 Feb 1881 a Mary A. GOOLSBY is listed as marrying Henry W. HOWELL in Union Parish, LA. I could find no cemetery records on this couple. Does anyone know if this Mary A. GOOLSBY is the daughter of Susanna FARRAR? And where she lived? On 17 Dec 1885 John S. GOLSBY is listed as marrying Hannah E. DENTON in Union Parish, LA.
