Thanks to Debbie Richard we have two new items on the Archives tonight. An obit from 1899 for James Pearson, and the court record from August 30, 1899 from the Farmerville Gazette. There are several names mentioned in the article, including one of my great-uncles who got himself sued for $440 (he lost) - quite a sum for those days.
