Hello Karen.... I'm so excited about finding some distant cousins ! I am a great great grand daughter of Louisa Jane Redden (1843-1919), David and Jane Redden of Union Parish, LA. I just received info that connected me for REAL to the family of David Redden. If anyone can enlighten me on documents, pictures and such, I would appreciate it. There is a time period of about 10 years (1860-1870) that is unaccounable on her life. She married Richard Winters abt 1870 and they had 5 children. I descendant from Nocie Ann, who is youngest of the Winters children. After Richard's death, she married a Jasper Dixon in Texas and had two more children. Louisa didnt seem to leave much a trail when she left home, so connecting her to her siblings has been wonderful ! I have been in touch with a descendant of Martha Redden and one of Emaline Redden. This is wonderful..... So glad to have the site to visit and share info....... Nelda Breazeale
