Hi cousins :) My mom is working on her mother's history and I'm trying to tie up some loose ends. My grandmother is Jamie Faith Day, last surviving child of James Pierce Day, Jr and Sallie Craven. She married Clavius Jones and after having a daughter in Strong, Arkansas, migrated to the central valley of California, where my mom was born. I'm looking for any stories that our cousins have of the migration of the families from either side of the state line to California. Somewhere in my memory is a story about Bob Day and Stella Craven piling everything into their car and headed west. We know that my g-grandfather took his family to Selma, California, but my Mom doesn't remember hearing any stories that Bob Day was with our family. Can anyone help fill-in our blanks?? Thanks!
