We've got 20 new obits - 12 from Gina & Peggy, 4 from Ann Pearson, and 2 from Harold Dozier Also a Military Roster, a marriage license, a slave sale deed, and 6 photos from Bobby Bayles. I've been trying to spiff things up and make it all look better and more uniform. One thing I did - and I'd appreciate it if those with the names I'm going list in their ancestry would go take a look - I rescanned and enlarged the photo of all the ladies on R. T. Moore's farm - you can see a lot of detail, and the faces are somewhat recognizable. The names on the back actually read from RIGHT to LEFT - the opposite of usual, and everyone is named except the woman at the far left. The names are: Mrs. Everett Mrs. Miller Miss Bella Moore Mrs. Wainryht Mrs. Fuller Mrs. Grafton Mrs. McFerin Mrs. Newton & babie Mrs. McDonald & babie Miss Clara Moore Mrs. Thaxton Mrs. Odom Mrs. Robinson Mrs. Raley & babie Mrs. Moore (R. T.'s wife?) Mrs. Barckly (Buckly?) Mrs. Cole Mrs. Brooks Mrs. Ruths (??) Mrs. Reeves & babie Mrs. E. B. Robison Mr. R.T. Moore, two darkis --------------------------------------- ALSO - SHERRY GRITZBAUGH!!! If you're out there, I need your help. I accidentally replaced the Bagwell/Feazel Family Bible Record you sent in 1999 with Tim Hudson's Hosea Bright Breazel Bible Record. Never know what will happen when you start cleaning house! That's the only mistake I've found so far. That's how I lost Edna Liggin's Joseph Shaw article a couple of years ago and accidentally replaced it with yours. ______________________ Also, I'm working on pulling together a decent map of Union Parish for us that will hopefully show all the old towns and cemeteries. If anyone has any suggestions, send them! Karen Mabry Rice, USGenWeb Archives Coordinator Union Parish, Lousiana http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/la/union.htm
