Karen and All, I have been off line for over a week( computer trouble) but now it is partly fixed. So I began working on the 1880 census. I don't think I knew what I was getting myself into! My glasses don't seem to be strong enough! I may need a white cane after this - Ha Ha. I worked on page one for over two hours and finally finished it as much as I could. I left a lot of blank places that I couldn't read. After printing this one out I'll go to the library and check it from the microfilm. The other pages should go a little faster since I had to learn the program - I'm hoping they won't be as hard to read. I f anyone would like to help me let me know. Otherwise it might take 5 years to complete!!! Now, on to page two. Alice
